Ferro Forma

Marketing Imagery

A marketing image series to showcase Ferro Forma’s tableware collection. The conceptual, precise, and form focused creative direction acts to emphasise the brand’s precision and craftsmanship, while the modern use food props helps to bring a contemporary feel to a traditional niche.

Ferro Forma, formerly known as Alison Jackson, is an Australian metalsmithing workshop specialising in handcrafted small batch edition objects. This series touches visually on previous work for their original brand as a means of transition.

This image series is one of meticulous placement, with crisp architectural lines, depth-building levels and precision cut food props adding to the demonstration of modern master-craftship.

High attention was given to metal surfaces, especially the highlight hot-spots and the deep shadows, to ensure all surface finishes were conveyed accurately and with high appeal. Food was used sparingly and with novelty, to add quirk and engagement, but without introducing clutter.
